10. Chart

To bring up the Chart window, go to the Main Menu, Application -> Chart. Type in your symbol in the 1^st input field in the upper left corner.

Navigation

The menu bar of the Chart window (Figure 10.1) contains 5 navigation buttons and 4 drop-down menus.

The navigation buttons are for you to scroll left or right, and to snap the whole chart into the current screen.

The 1^st drop-down menu is for time horizon, from which you can select Daily Chart, 1 minute, 5 minute and 15 minute Intraday Chart, as well as Time and Sales data.

The 2^nd drop-down menu is for chart presentation, from which you can select Candle Stick, Bar Chart, Obar Chart and Line Chart.

The 3^rd drop-down menu is for Moving Average. Once it is selected, you will see 5 day, 10 day and 30 day moving average lines across the chart.

The 4^th drop-down menu is for Technical Analysis, from which you can select MACA, RSI, KDJ, and etc.

Color Scheme

To change the color scheme of the Chart, right-click on the chart and you can switch to another color scheme from the drop-down menu. (Figure 10.2)
