11. Options Quote Chain

To bring up the Options window, go to the Main Menu, Application -> Options. Type in the stock symbol on the upper left corner input field to request its options chain series. (See Figure 11.1)

In the Level I Panel on the top, you can see the current Level I quote of the stock symbol. In the Options Chain panel, you can see the Options Symbol, Expiration, and Strike Price in the center columns. On the left hand side are the Call Options; on the right hand side are the Put Options.

Each stock symbol might have hundreds of options. To narrow down the display to a more relevant series of options, click on the “Filter” button on the upper right corner. You will see the Filter Setting window pop up. You can check the Month Filter and the Strike Price Filter. You can select to view options with the nearby expiration months and nearby strike prices, or you can specify a particular range. (Figure 11.2)
