1.3 Logging in

Follow the two-step to login to Fortex-eSignalÔ.

Step1: Simply double-click on the eSignal Windows desktop icon to run it.

Step2: Once you login to eSignal successfully, go to the main menu, Trade -> Logon to login to Fortex (Figure 1.3.2), you will see the Logon window (Figure 1.3.3) come up. Please enter you Username, Password and Host IP address provided by your service provider, and then click “OK” to login. Please note that the login information is NOT case-sensitive; we capitalize all username/password login information. Your Username and Host IP address will be saved as the first time you enter them. They will always stay there for your convenience until you change them. You can also choose Save Password so that you don’t have to re-enter your password for future login.

Login Status

You Fortex login status are shown on the status bar on the lower right hand corner, the third indicator from right in particular. During the above mentioned login process, you will see your login status changing from Logged Off to Logging to OK. (See Figures 1.3.4).
