19. Instant Messenger

The Instant Messenger function provides a powerful multi-channel communication platform for broadcasting, chat room, 2-way instant messaging, Live Rep. Support, etc.

To bring up the Instant Messenger, go to the menu bar Help -> IMessenger or click on the toolbar icon as Figure 19.1 illustrates.

During the first time the OpenEx IMessenger launches, you will see the following Security Warning (Figure 19.2) for the IMessenger Java applet. Please check the box where it says “Always trust content from JPilot Software Company” first and then click Yes to proceed.

The following IMessenger window (Figure 19.3) will appear. You are now ready to start your online communication.
